After many wonderful years, I have taken the decision that Nino’s Trattoria will close its doors in mid April 2026.

The Deli will remain open and unaffected by this change.

This is not due to a lack of support. In fact, we feel incredibly fortunate for the loyalty shown over the years. The restaurant remains busy and very well loved, and we are truly grateful for every one of you who has walked through our doors.

So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

This instead is a personal and forward-looking decision. The restaurant has demanded long hours and total commitment, and I have given it everything since opening in Pangbourne in 2013. I am proud of what we have built, and have absolutely loved serving our community. 

Now feels like the right moment to fully focus my attention on growing the deli and shaping the next chapter of Nino’s with the same care and dedication, whilst hopefully gaining a little more balance along the way. 

It has always been important to me that whenever this chapter came to an end, it would do so on a real high. With the lease now sold to a great incoming operator, we are able to step away with pride and finish surrounded by the same warmth and loyalty that built this place. 

This has not been an easy decision, especially when I reflect on the immense legacy Dad started over 45 years ago… So much heart, and history, lives within these walls.

For those who have been part of Nino’s for many years, I know this may feel particularly sad, and I am sincerely sorry for any disappointment caused. Please know that this decision has not been taken lightly, and that your loyalty and support over the years mean more to me than I can express.

But this is not goodbye.

Nino’s continues just over the road at The Deli, and we have some exciting plans ahead.

We will trade as normal in the restaurant until our final service on 16th April.

I would love to see as many of you as possible for one (or more) last meals - please spread the word, gather friends and family, & help us make these last few weeks unforgettable!

Thank you for being part of the Nino’s journey. This may be the end of an era, but it is very much not the end of Nino’s.
